When I write a first draft, I have a basic outline and know where I’m taking the story, but I don’t always know how I’m getting there, so when I read it back, sometimes I find some surprises.
And when I read back the first draft of my next book, I fell in love all over again with these characters.
This book, you guys. It’s everything! It’s the final standalone book in the MFB world, and it’s got everything we need to say goodbye. Or, at least to say see ya later. I’m not sure I’m quite ready for goodbyes, though my mind is a little overwhelmed with the possibilities for where I’m taking you next.
I can’t wait for you to read this book, and I can’t wait for you to read what’s coming after it (which I’ve already started writing).
